the playground rubber in good condition
- little to no lose granules means that it is likely at full installation thickness
- there is no obvious hardening.
- slight fading. given it's age and sun exposure, this is to be expected. After sealing, the color looks almost new
- there are some mysterious slices in the rubber.
the play equipment is in good shape
- the decks have faded a little, but everything is in pretty good shape

astm signage - updated
ADA compliant - with 12 elevated elements, 4 ground level (2 types) are required. this playground has 6 ground level events
head / neck entrapment hazard - the positioning of this activity panel has created an opening between the top of the panel and the bottom of the slide that has the potential for injury. the manufacturer has been contacted and a plan for repair has been decided on. this log will be updated following repair. (pics 1-2)

notes

maybe an art/construction project was done on top of the rubber and caused the cuts, or it may have been vandalism. if the rubber is sealed frequently enough, they shouldn't be a cause for concern. there are also a couple of small cracks to keep an eye on (pics 3-4)
